Luminous DK is a 3 ply DK weight yarn. It is 85% Polwarth wool sourced from South America and 15% Tussah silk. All Sincere Sheep yarns are dyed using natural dyes.

This yarn is hand dyed in small batches, so each batch may be a little bit different, and we recommend buying all of the yarn you need for a project at one time. We also suggest alternating skeins when knitting projects.

Luminous DK has a very slight sheen, good elasticity, and good stitch definition. It has a medium drape, so it is a good choice for a wide range of garments.

Some of the Luminous DK colorways use natural indigo in the dyeing process.

19 sts & 28 rows = 10 cm/4 in, using 4 mm (US 6) needles

RECOMMENDED NEEDLE/HOOK SIZE:

Hook size - 4.5 to 5.5 mm (US 7 to I-9)
